At the Spencer Hotel we're well-equipped for fitness and leisure. If you like to stay in shape while away from home, our leisure facilities allow you to maintain your usual activity routine or even develop a new one.
Enjoy a few lengths in our heated lap pool, knock out a few rounds of tennis or if your routine leans more towards leisure than action you can simply relax in our super-sized spa pool.

Enjoy the health benefits of a few lengths in our lap pool, and because its heated to around 28°C / 82.4°F, you can swim at almost any time of the year. The pool’s dimensions are 20 metres long, 5 metres wide and 1.1 metres deep.

Why not enjoy a game on our outdoor all-weather floodlit tennis court? Located two stories up, the court’s position has a unique aspect to make your game feel even more special. Racquets and tennis balls are available from reception.

There’s no need to break your fitness routine just because you're away from home. Our gym is fully equiped with free-weights, weight machines, exercise balls, a treadmill and plenty of space to stretch out. Personal trainers are available upon request at reception for an additional cost.

We have parking available on site (designated Hotel Parking with a green sign).
Car parking charges apply as follows:
Self-park $30 per day/night.
A car park ticket can be obtained from the hotel Reception and must be displayed on the card dashboard. Car parking cannot be pre-reserved and is subject to availability on arrival. A maximum of one on-site car park per room can be allocated.
Alternatively, there is street parking available on Byron Avenue, or choose from one of four Wilson car parks in Takapuna; Northcroft St, Takapuna Strand, Bloomfield Spa or Como Street.
